a little about me...

my name is leah and i’m a digital marketing and social media professional. but i’m more than that – i'm a climber, runner, skier, writer, photographer, mtb-er, dog & cat mom. there are few moments i love more than waking up to a mountain view and quietly sipping on a good cup of (black) coffee. i was raised in the northwoods of minnesota, and although i left long ago, the icy waters and love for hockey still run in my veins. i currently reside in the glorious rocky mountains of colorado.

i began my career in the marketing agency world, thriving off the fast-paced work ethic and creative processes in both boutique and corporate environments. but ultimately, my true passions lay elsewhere, so i decided to forge my own path into the outdoor industry. i spent a year immersing myself in climbing cultures across the country (and world) and finding creative outlets around each turn and learning the intricacies of the athletes and the industry. eventually, i landed a dream job as the social media manager for black diamond equipment.

i believe in visual storytelling, and i'm passionate about connecting through the little moments in life and the people we share them with, both in media and words. i work with people and brands who advocate for our natural places and share the same values as myself.
